When life the postman hands you California WalnutsIMG_20140122_125610

[And a former nut butter business leaves you with an overabundance of banana chips.]IMG_3406 (1024x681)

…the only logical thing to do is:IMG_3418 (1024x683)

Make WALNUT-ADE!IMG_3469 (683x1024)

Or Caramelized Banana Walnut Peanut Butter.IMG_3474 (1024x682)

That, too.IMG_3475 (1024x683)

I made this today (well kind of…I used mostly peanuts) and it was amazing! Such a great idea to use banana chips. I had a bag of them sitting around for a while since I don’t really like them on their own and this was the perfect way to use them up! And I love the cinnamon-banana combination. I really love nut butter recipes because I prefer making my own fun flavors to store bought. Thanks for the recipe!
