Cooking Up Business Book Giveaway [Justin's, Love Grown Foods, EVOL]

by Sarah on December 2, 2013 · 60 comments

As a loyal Love Blogger, I have the opportunity to share with y’all an AMAZING new book for people who want to turn their foodie passions or culinary creations into a business. Having (fairly) successfully started a business on my own, I know how important it is to have others in the field to turn to for advice, and Maddy of Love Grown Foods was one of those people for meIMG959229 (768x1024)
That’s why I’m SO happy that Love Grown is featured in the new book, Cooking Up a Business, by Rachel Hofsetter, featuring stories and profiles of national food companies, including three wonderful Colorado-based companies: Love Grown Foods, Justin’s Nut Butter, and Evol Foods.

CookingBusiness_Giveaway

Now YOU have a chance to win not only a copy of Rachel Hofsetter’s new book, Cooking Up a Business: Lessons from Food Lovers Who Turned Their Passion Into a Career–How You Can, Too, but a box of goodies from all three of those popular companies!
This is a short and sweet giveaway, as ‘short and sweet’ is the opposite of the finals week I’m experiencing. :)

I’ve always wanted my own pizza joint, maybe one of these days! I will retire from my current profession in about 10 years at the ripe old age of 48 so maybe by then I will be able to make it happen. Until then I will continue to entertain my friends and family from the confines of my very own pizza kitchen!

I always used to think about opening up a coffee shop where I could blend my love for coffee with music by having a stage for artists to play. Maybe someday. ;)

I want to open an espresso cafe that serves breakfast all day with: an assortment of yogurt and toppings, a grain/muesli/oatmeal bar, waffles and pancakes, huge amounts of fresh fruit, and different baked goods– all using healthy, quality ingredients! Plus soups and lunch options! Basically a place I’d want to eat at every day. :)
