March is National Peanut Month.

This is one nutty food celebration I can’t let go.*

*Cue Jennifer Hudson on this week’s episode of Smash! Did I tear up? Yes. Did I watch it twice? Yes.

Nutty Butter is back and (pea) nuttier than ever.

If it lookslike peanut butter cookie dough…

(at least when it first gets going...)

…and it smells like peanut butter cookie dough…

…well you can bet I also figured out just how to make it TASTE like Peanut Butter Cookie dough.

And no, it’s not just ground up peanuts.

Peanut butter cookies don’t taste just like peanut butter, now do they?

It requires cashews and almonds and vanilla and sugar and butter flavor to make it truly taste like a fork-pressed, warm and gooey cookie-nut.*

*As opposed to coco-nut.

And oddly enough, peanut butter cookies are just a hop, skip, and a heap of cocoa away from becoming peanut butter cups.

The perfect balance of sweet peanut butter center and milk chocolatey shell, all mixed up in a jar.

oh my freaking GOODNESS! I think my favorite peanut-y treat would be THESE nutty butters! If it’s peanut-related, peanut butter related or anything even remotely close to that, I usually love it. Add in chocolate and well…I’m done for. Hand me a spoon, I’m diving in!

Um. I thought you had me at the banana bread, but I think this tops the cake. You know me. And you know I would die for almost anything you make. But this. This just sounds extra amazing.

I hate to admit, but Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are a HUGE weakness for me. But there is seriously nothing better than the real thing. Ok, everyone raves about the Quest cups, but I’m sorry. An original Reese’s holds my heart.

I love peanut butter mixed with chocolate chips and melted and then mixed with plain cornflakes cereal. Yum! Or I love peanut butter mixed into fat free cool whip! Tastes like peanut butter ice cream!

A nut butter & jam slathered brown rice cake, and a juicy , fat medjool date stuffed with the good stuff<- they tie as my favourite nut butter treats!
PLUS, they're really healthy so I can eat like 20 of them.
