The only reason I am allowing myself to purposely use the word buncha in the title of this post is because despite my general abhorrence of misspellings and grammatical inaccuracies in product labeling and advertising, I figure changing “a bunch of” to buncha was OK since the product I am about to talk to you about is misspelled also…and I like it.
What is that product, you ask?
I was contacted by the good people at Qrunch Foods to sample and review these quinoa-and-millet-based burgers.
Always a fan of a good veggie burger–especially one that actually packs protein like a good meat burger ‘substitute’ and isn’t just a bunch of vegetables mashed together for me to then crumble up on MORE vegetables*–

–I was eager to give the Qrunch burgers a ‘go.’
OK. After the first one.
Well, the outer ‘crust’ of the Qrunch burger is cornmeal-esque, like that, but with a not-too grainy texture inside, so the whole effect is almost like eating a hush puppy! [That, y’all, is a VERY good thing.]
*Unless you had a TON of ketchup waiting for me. [And a tomato. Because I like tomatoes AND ketchup on my burgers, thankyouverymuch.]
Putting it on top of some of the Ezekiel 4:9 Flax Bread (that I reviewed yesterday) was WAY too much of a dense, carb-heavy situation, and I ended up having to divide and conquer.
