Hold onto your hummus, y’all.
Starting tomorrow, The Smart Kitchen is GOING GREEK!
Although Accidentally conveniently timed to coincide with the Panhellinic tradition of RUSH–at least where I come from–Greek Week in The Smart Kitchen only deals with the jazz hands and spirit chants of sorority sisters everywhere in name only. Because, while I still credit my sisterhood as being one of the best decisions I made in college, I’m not about to bust out a sorority anthem for y’all.*
*OK. Maybe later I will sing for your the Chi Omega verson of *NSYNC’s ‘Pop,’ or revisit my time as The Scarecrow in our recruitment skit.
No, this Greek Week revolves more around my lingering longing to visit the beautiful Grecian isle, where I can live out my Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants-inspired fantasy of eating delicious food and falling in love with a delicious man.*
*Yep. I said it.
For this Greek-themed week of gloriousness, I have recipes fit for the gods ready for you to drool over…
…and of course, some pretty Olympic-level giveaways so you can celebrate with me!
Are you ready to get your GREEK on?

Hahaha. Delicious man. I died.
Is that blood orange Chobani? My absolute favorite (yes, even over the lemon!). I can only find it at Target and since I don’t have a job right now, I have forbidden myself to step foot in that store. I give it a week.
You’re so cute with your themes.
One day I will have to eat some of your homemade hummus. I’m going to bet that it’s incredible…
If I had to pick a favorite ethnic food variety, I think Greek might be it. Mostly because I’m obsessed with both feta and hummus… but also because greek everything is delicious haha.
i loved greek week in college!
i’ve very interested in those greek balls…. they look delicious!
I wasn’t Greek but I partied at frat houses… does that count?
Can we just go to Greece? Future Blend site?
I’m ready for Greek week! Especially for hummus recipes–I LOVE hummus, and make my own all the time.
I’m a Chi Omega too!! I’ve been reading your blog for almost a year, and it makes so much sense now that I’ve been drawn to your quirky posts each week
