A Passion for Plant Fusion [Giveaway]

I first tried Plant Fusion at the Richmond Vegetarian Festival in June.

Following an e-mail that began something along the lines of, “Hi! You might remember me as the redheaded food blogger with three cameras who was trying to network and instagram while simultanously begging for free samples?”Scott from Plant Fusion delivered on the promise made at the festival, and what has followed is nothing less than a protein pow(d)ered spiral of obsession.From hiking in the Adirondacks–where I discovered that even just mixed with water, the Vanilla Bean tastes like cake–to mixing up the Chocolate in my first ever protein shake, paired with my oatmeal for a post-workout breakfast.It wasn’t long before those two worlds collided and turned a passion for Plant Fusion into an oatshake obsession.

And when the weather turned colder, I turned to proats.Pr-oatmeal started in a humble place…

the very first bowl of proats i ever made. (sigh) oh, nostalgia.

 …but as you all know by now, the every day for breakfast wonder has been reinvented over……and over again.

Unflavored Plant Fusion has just a subtle sweetness which makes it perfect for adding into baked goods, like my Spiced Peach and Date Protein (and Fiber) Bars. Chocolate Raspberry is a revelation in feel-good-about-it richness, and was, in fact, the very first attempt at goop I (how)ever (accidentally) made.

From a simple spread on graham crackers with apples……my goopaliciousness only continues to exceed my expectations–—and wildest imaginings.

I am now in posession of a full-sized tub of all four flavors of Plant Fusion–in fact, I just recently had to purchase second tub of the Vanilla Bean. It is a constant part of my breakfast and afternoon snack concoctions, and I don’t think I need to spend much more time raving about how much I love it.*

*For a girl who once proclaimed she didn’t ‘get’ protein powder to actually purchase some really should say it all.

these two were given to me. i am a lucky girl.

And now, I get to help one of you grow a passion for Plant Fusion, too!

I would make a Berry Plant Fusion Bold Berry Blue Blast of a frozen smoothie with Plant Fusion powder, almond milk, a small Greek yogurt container and frozen blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!

I would mix a scoop of vanilla bean in with my morning oatmeal with a sliced banana walnuts and cinnamon! Tasty and filling to start off the day!

Vanilla bean flavor sounds perfect and would be awesome in a green smoothie. I usually add a dash of vanilla or a vanilla bean to my green smoothie (greens, mixed berries, nut butter, banana, apples/apple juice, chia and hemp seeds, and vita-greens mineral powder),

Proats sound awesome btw – esecially with Plant Fusion I don’t do protein powders with whey, soy, or any dairy. Too many tummy troubles. boo

I love peaches and raspberries together so my smoothie concoction of choice would be frozen peaches and raspberries or strawberries blended with some almond or soy milk and a huge scoop of the Berry flavor of Plant Fusion for an extra berryliciousness! YUM!

I loooooove plant based protein powders! I have yet to try plant fusion so this would be pretty sweet. Vanilla is usually my drug of choice, though I could totally get behind some chocolate, too. Vanilla Bean works with almost any combination so I’ll stick with that. I’ll use it with my morning smoothie bowls that combine oats, almond milk, frozen berries, hemp or flax, and topped with a bit of nut butter and some Puffins. Yum!

I’d go with Vanilla Bean and maybe try mixing into proats. Not gonna lie – a little leery of the oats + protein powder combo, but you’ve yet to steer me wrong. :) If nothing else, i’ll use it in my (oatless) smoothies.

I’d probably chooce Vanilla Bean just because its so versatile! It would most definitely go in countless oaty smoothies and mixed with almond milk and maple syrup to use as protein frosting on various yummy sweet treats!

I love protein powder but I haven’t been using lately unfortunately! Shakes were a key thing for my weight gain – need to add it back. I got hooked on sunwarrior. I would love to try/win plant fusion.
I usually go vanilla, but the chocolate raspberry sounds fun and new. Glad you got hooked!
I still love my oat based fig and banana smoothie. I like to top proats with raspberries or peaches while still cooking so it gets that fruit and cream type flava.
