And It Was Called…

OK, class, raise your hand if you’re excited to find out the newest flavor of Nutty Butter!

[And the flavor that , the winner of my Christmas In July Nutty Butter Giveaway will be receiving in the mail?]

OK. Fine. It’s not like I’ve been doing a very good job of keeping it a secret. I mailed and delivered samples to a bunch of my trusted tastebuds,* and if you follow Kath, you’ve already read about it. [And that she likes it. ]

*It’s true. I’m objectifying y’all.

But every summer blockbuster is only made that much better by spoiler alerts, right? Every major musical release has an “accidental” leak? It just builds excitement…Let’s just say there is a reason this is my favorite mug (and tableware pattern) of all time.And there is a reason I made yellow, golden gazpacho this weekend (as opposed to a more traditional red).

My brainwaves have kept me so thematically obsessed with the new flavor of Nutty Butter, that I could not stop myself from wearing this dress two days in a row.

And I kept my nails painted this color* far longer than the manicure should have lasted. [To the point that it appeared to be a 'two-tone' nail job where the second tone was my natural nail...]

You can always tweet me, but you don’t have to in this case.And there is a reason I chose Chris Martin as this Nutty Butter, flavor-of-the-summer’s celebrity sponsor, and that he so graciously agreed to reverse the aging process and walk along a beach in the rain to sing about it.

[Insert epic synthesizer melody. Cue lighters.]And OK. It’s not exactly yellow.

But it is lemon.

A smooth cashew-almond-peanut base, with the flavor of lemon and a smidge of honey, plus coconut and almond bits for texture akin to the crust of a bar or cookie. It’s a favorite summer treat (or “a really good Girl Scout Cookie”) in butter form.

One taster said “dreams were coming true,” when she ate it. Another said “the best thing [she] ever tasted just came in the mail.”

It really might be “the best Nutty Butter yet.”
