After meeting Sandy from Lollihop at the Foodbuzz Festival Tasting Pavilion a couple of weeks ago, I had immediately jumped at her offer to send me a vegan snack box to sample, and to help spread the word about Lollihop, a company that sends monthly ‘snackpacks’ of healthy treats, catered to your preferences and dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, etc.). The company aims to send great-tasting, preservative-free, (relatively) clean products that will keep you happy…when you get hungry.

I am super excited that my box arrived so quickly, as I do have a rather intensive road trip coming up….tomorrow(!) If I had all the money in the world, I would definitely subscribe to this service, if only for the fun surprises I might find each month, whether its the comfort of old favorites…
(OK, fine. I don’t lust for the Cherry Pie Larabar, but I’ll eat it. The Cashew Cookie is delicious, however…and did you notice that they packed me the most addicting chip of my college experience that goes by the name of Terra????)

But I DON’T have all the money in the world…so I guess I’ll be buying my own snacks from now on. 
However, I do know some people who won’t need to buy their own snacks for a little while. 
You see, my Lollihop package inspired me with a genius plan to get rid of the excessive amount of food I had collected in my pantry from store samples and food blogger freebies and my own need to stockpile items when they go on sale.

So I packed up some boxes with the most random assortment of items I had.
I did keep in mind the personalities and tastes of the bloggers I had randomly* chosen.*Well, sort of randomly…
I call it Random Snacks of Kindness.
Because what’s the fun in having food…
…if you don’t share it with people you love like nut butter?**As in, “I love you the way I love nut butter.” Not “Nut butter is a person with whom I share my snacks.”

I think Lollihop would make a great holiday gift idea – way better than getting all those standard gift baskets and boxes of chocolate that usually don't have any redeeming health-factors.
I especially love how you made cleaning out the pantry for your move into such a fun activity that I know will bring a big smile to the lucky recipients!
